Mars in Sagittarius does not separate the personal conviction from the outward action. The political content was the same drive that produced the Pop work, just aimed at a different target. Mercury in Aquarius reinforces this: his thinking organized itself around structural critique, around what systems were doing to people, and that framing made political subject matter a natural extension of the same analytical habit he applied everywhere else.
